Thats A lot of Coyote's better hope peta is around here, I was drinking a Red Bull and some random lady walked up to me and told me Red Bull has Bull sperm in it and something about how bulls die from getting it, well if thats true then its the best damn bull sperm Ive ever tasted

What about javelinas? are those all year round

Javelinas are a draw system with a bag limit of one per calender year, which sucks because andy and I have seen them almsot every outing  :-s

And we're going to buy tags for 37A (left overs) for the Feb hunt.  We call them in a lot so we might as well get some tags.

We missed (I missed two shots) this weekend on a coyotes.  Managed to take the head clean off a bunny at 100yrds and Weston called in an illegal to the 1st stand of the day.

What caliber rounds are you guys using??

I use a .243, .30-06 and 12G shotgun (#4 buck)

Weston (mr. Overkill) uses a .308.  He claims it makes skinning the animal faster!

Here's Weston's exit wound from his .308 for a straight on shot on his dog.

nice... thanks.   I've got a 458 Socom I've been wanting to through at some flesh instead of paper and a yote might just do the trick...

Take up bunny thumping then.  More targets and they are static, last year we were making shots as far as 600yrds.

Are there any seasonal or geographical limits on hunting these critters or is it a free for all ?

Coyotes = Year Round
Bobcats, Foxes and Badgers there is a season (I think Aug 1 to May 31st)
Mountain Lion also has a fall season as well.

Guns are just like baseball cards, there is a "listing price" and then there is what you are actually going to get.

i.e. A $500 baseball card sells to a dealer for $40.

No property is worth killing anybody over.

A couple of scenarios:

1) You shoot the person; he dies, you go to jail and be somebody's bitch

2) You shoot the person he lives, you go to jail and be somebody's bitch and he sues you

3) You shoot the person, he dies, you go to jail and be somebody's bitch and his family sues you

4) You shoot the person, he doesn't die and you don't got to jail and he still sues you

5) You the shoot the person, he does die, you don't go to jail and his family still sues you.

News flash!! THIS IS REALITY!!! NOT THE FUCKING MOVIES!!!

Welcome to adulthood, some punks stole some of your stuff and now you want to kill them.  It ain't going to happen, go to the range, talk all the sh1t you want and shoot some targets.  You aren't going to do anything about it.

Best bet, buy an alarm, a dog, and form a neighborhood watch.  You won't get arrested for any of these things.

I Understand you are emotional and upset about what happened.  It's over move on with life.  Curse them, pray for them, etc.  But..... if you think you are going to buy a gun and shoot the next person that steals your property and get away with it then move to Texas where it's legal.  Else you just posted on the Internet that you want to buy a gun and kill the next theif.  If I was on the jury, I'd find you guilty.

Something to think about the next time you post about buying a gun and wanting to defend yourself (i.e. get a little revenge)

P.S. Before people start talking sh1t about how they hate what I wrote, I believe in the right to protect yourself and your property; the difference is I think about the ramifications before I'd pull the trigger like any other adult.

I'd be the first to tell you if it is him or you, shoot him!  If it's him or your car or radio.... GUILTY YOUR HONOR!!!

Something to think about before you buy a gun, in my opinion you aren't mature enough to own one yet.

damn that looks like a really nice area to shoot.
from I-10 do you take the Avra Valley Rd. exit and drive west until you get to a certain road or something?

You drive along Avra Valley road ~10mi, then drive off-road for about 15minutes and you are there.  There isn't a name for the turn off, it's just one of many roads that leads into the desert.
