They produduce a large volume of thick, non-toxic orange smoke. If you have seen this video, the haze that covers half the battlefield was the result of one or two of these smokes.

I own one of these chargers.

If you have enough time to leave your battery pack charging, use the .9A setting. The slower charge rate will be better for the battery and result in a longer-lasting charge. That being said, 1.8A of current probably isn't going to do any damage. Especially since Intellect cells are quite good.

You dont really have to discahrge a NIMH, although it is good habit these batteries dont have memory effects

Depending on the quality of manufacture, NIMH can develop a sort of temporary memory. While it is not critical to cycle (charge and discharge) the cells on a regular basis, it's best to avoid leaving your batteries charged for long periods of time.

Evike's customer service is downright pathetic.

I have ordered from them three times. Each time my order has been messed up. (You'd think I'd have learned my lesson after the second order...) Items that were marked "In Stock" on their website were actually on back order and were not shipped on time. When I called their office, I was told it could be weeks for new stock to arrive. I had to call three times to get the backordered item refunded.

While their site looks good and they have quite the selection, they are very unreliable and treat their customers like crap.

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / WTS: TM G36C package - $230
« on: June 16, 2007, 10:21:22 AM »
I am selling a Tokyo Mauri G36C. It comes with 3 mags (2 TM standards and a Star hicap) as well as a battery. It also has a Prometheus 6.03mm tightbore barrel installed.

Replica is as pictured, but DOES NOT INCLUDE THE RED DOT SCOPE which has already been sold.

$230 will get it shipped to your door. Not considering trades.

Good catch. That always confused me. It certainly performed like a 8.4v high-mah battery, but the cells didn't seem to add up.

The dummy cell theory makes sense.

I am selling a stock Classic Army M15.

It has served me well in the time I've owned it but I need some cash and have to let it go.

It has been professionally maintained and works perfectly. There is nothing wrong with it except for minor cosmetic damage to the carry handle as shown in the following photo.

(sling attachment not included)

Included in this package are the following:

- 1 Classic Army M15 carbine with retractable stock (incl. manual)
- 1 8.4v 4000mah NiMH battery pack (fits in handguard)
- 1 Classic Army M16 hicap magazine
- 1 metal M16 midcap

Price is $245 in person. Cash or money order only.
If you have something really juicy, I may consider trades.

I would prefer to meet in Tempe, but can also do shipping within the US for an extra $15.

You can remove me from the green roster. I won't be able to make it to this one after all.

Hey Osmo_C
Nice shot to the neck. It still hurts but GREAT SHOOT

Thanks. I wasn't aiming for your neck, but just saw movement at the end of the corridor and fired at it.

I compiled this animation from a series of photos. Don't try taking the road to Sasco unless your vehicle can handle these conditions.

DIRECTIONS TO SASCO AO:

From I-10, take exit 226, Red Rock. This exit is about 30 miles north of Tucson and 70+ miles south of Phoenix. Southbound traffic should proceed straight at the exit ramp. This is about the only place you could go possibly wrong. Go west on this straight road (the speed limit is riduculously low). You will pass a cattle ranch and then hit dirt. There are a couple low spots you have to watch out for. Eventually, (after 6 or 7 miles I think) you will see cars parked on the right and the SASCO ruins. You want the ruins with the big hill next to them. Also, I couldn't get cell service at the AO.

When in doubt, go straight.

I'm game. I'll post later when I know exactly how many are coming with me.

I was really impressed with the field. I think it has a lot of potential, especially for multiple objective games. Well worth the drive from Phoenix!
