General Airsoft Discussion / A quick Tutorial on running a Caravan.
« on: November 12, 2005, 12:42:26 PM »
There are just a few simple steps to running a successful caravan.
None of them are difficult, so it's amazing how often they don't get done.
1. Be sure that everyone in the caravan knows the route and destination.
2. Be sure that the person in the lead does not go faster than the slowest person in the group. (And that, by definition, means do not go over the posted speed limit, as there are some people who can't afford to get a ticket)
3. In this age of cellphones, ensure that everyone in the group has the leader's cell number, in case of trouble. Radios are a great idea, and work well in flat places, but not on twisty mountain roads.
4. If for some reason, the destination or route has to be changed, pull over and stop to be sure that everyone in the group has the updated information.
Airsoft is not illegal, immoral, or shameful.
Why all the secrecy?
