I heaved these peomises often from people saying they will build the fields up and so forth, but untill there is prooof, i will await the results.  sorry guys...

cant say I blame you there, We've all heard the empty promises before...

However while re-reading the rules on the insurance policy... Players under 18 must wear a full facemask, suach as a jt paintball mask.  Players 18 and over must wear sealed eye protection, such as jt spectra goggles.  Players over 18 are strongly encouraged to cover ears, nose, mouth, and throat with bandanas, balacalva, neoprene face masks etc.  Wire mesh masks are PROHIBITED!!! PERIOD!!!

Is it all just inflatable bunkers? How big is the playing area?

no the inflatable bunkers only come out for the tournament paintballers on Sundays...  The airsoft AO will be roughly 2-3 acres for now and lit,  bunkers will be pallets and oil drums, tons of thick grass and tree growth covers the area.  We will be adding more and more each week.  As attendance increases we will be enlarging the field.  As it stands APD has control over 154.2 acres, with plans to develop a 40 acre portion with the Arizona National Gaurd into an airsoft field. This field will be seperate from the paintball portion of the land and dedicated strictly to airsoft. Lots of trenches, bunkers, foxholes and such....

I myself like to sling a m79 or the like on my back, My thought is it is better to carry the extra wieght on the torso.  Like vince said long barrels are mandatory for howlers.

Is he wearing that bandana on his face WITHOUT glasses on in that 3rd set of pictures (the guy in ACUs)?  I might be pushing my mid 30's but I don't see any on him.

The guy wearing the bandana dirka-dirka style has some glasses on.

Just wondering.

he is wearing glasses, they are amber color kinda hard to spot

First I want to say that what I noticed shortly after this youngman entered APD is that it seemed like he did not have a very positive attitude. He even told one of the employees in what seemed to a very disrespectful tone, that the only reason he was buying this gun here is because we were the only store in AZ that had one.  He was told on the phone before he came in that we had one left. As for misrepresenting products, we absolutely did not. We took it of the wall right in front of him.  I really dont feel like taking too much time to explain why pilz is wrong in most points in his post.  Matt is a knowledgable airsoft technician and has many loyal customers that come only to him for all thier airsoft service because they know he does a great job and in all cases gets the job done within 1 or 2 days.  In many cases he fixes their guns right on the spot. None of them seem to complain about him, and keep coming back.  APD is a very busy store on saturdays. I have been working all day and am going to go to sleep now.

Bottom line for those of you that dont want to read the paragraph above.

This young man is distorting the actual facts in this case. He is trying to make himself look like a victim in order to trash on APD.

He is upset becase he did not go home with a CQB.

We told him we would not sell it to him because we had determined the  gun was obviously not in working condition at that time.

He was told that we are getting more CQB's in a shipment next week.

He was upset cause he wanted one RIGHT NOW.

The only person that said anything about him while he was leaving, was another customer I was was helping at the same time who said, and I qoute "That little psycho needs to take a chill pill."  This person was not encouraged to say this and had been observing this whole fiasco.

I certify that everything in this post is the honest to god truth.  We no bad intentions towards him, and we hope that he finds a CQB and has many hours of fun with it.

I am managment and what I did during this was refuse to take accept his foul attitude.

He in actuallity he was very rude to myself and Matt.

Thank you for listening,

Jon from APD

I don't work for them either, but I have to back up the APD pimping.

I didnt know about APD at all when I first got into airsoft and started showing up here. Only found out about the store accidentally when someone here asked a G36 question. Most of what the OP said is true. It is one of two high end stores in town along with Soft Air Depot (which I only just found out about too) and I still prefer APD. Prices are equal or cheaper to online, JT has a slightly better range for pistols but as far as high end, low end, parts i.e systema, bdus and vests, they have it all, selection as well as price.

Actually I probably wouldnt have started off with a crappy BE AUG that I now really have no use for, even for upgrading if I'd known a local store that I could have gone to, just for quickly and easily comparing low end to high end. I've sent a few people to APD who wanted to check out CA stuff (especially G36's). Fell in love with the CA G36 externals minute I saw it and knew which direction I was going ;)

APD reps (well rep, that's my only complaint, not enough airsoft!) have been just as helpful and knowledgeable as our local JT guys have been. I made a post on our own airsoft forum about stores recently and I put APD at the top of the list too. Its the best store in town, if you havent been there and you're local, you really ought to :)

THANK YOU,
Plans are in the works to make us better....

I don't see any APD people attending any airsoft games, whereas the JT staff are all about it. Not to mention JT is an airsoft store not a paintball store with airball guns collecting dust. I have yet to see any store with more than 20 high end guns on display at any given time, including consignment sales.

Sorry the wall looks a little empty right now,  I count 37 High ends on the wall.  All CA, Marui, and Star.  40 if you count the G&G m14, Star L85 AFV, and the Marui Type 89 hiding in their boxes behind the counter.  As for us not playing,  We do, Only we tend to play at night when we close the store.  We would Play more on Sundays but with all the paintball tournys and traveling we dont get to that often.  Our prices are more than fair, especially when they are cheaper than/equal to online sites like atlanta airsoft, precision airsoft, and Depot 53.  As for sleepers post I remember working on his gun, he isnt an employee but he did spend a lot on his gun.  here is what he got for 300, CA Super high speed motor, CA high speed helical gears, madbull barrel, CA G36 bore up kit, CA 170% spring, G36 K Rails, 10.8V PEQ Battery, 2 boxes of Star 140 mid caps, and a foregrip.  It was all installed in 45 minutes at time of purchase.  the only thing sketch about his statement is the ROF.  My chrono can not count anything faster than 21.  His shot at least 21, with an average speed of 430, which we all know will decrease a little as the spring breaks in let me know if I forgot anything sleeper, and thanks for the support.  I owe you a T shirt  :)

Ok, so... i had a Prometheus 6.03 for my AK.  Come to find out, the barrel was bent.  I think it may have happened during shipping, but i havn't really noticed it since i got it, i only used in in a few games.  But yeah, well, the barrel cost me close to $70.  I want to get another barrel, but from a different company (maybe Evike), and hopefully for a better price.  I found one for $29.99.  It is a 6.03mm TBB made by Mad Bull.  I was wondering if anyoine knows anything about Mad Bull and theuir products before i buy it.

This may sound odd, but try an archery shop, they have shaft straighteners that just might work for your dilema.

I've got 20 G&P MP5 mid cap mags and I have never had any issues with them at all, unless you count the one I fell on, and cracked the spot welds..

So I recieved six of them... they are superb, they turn themselves on when inserted into your gun and you cant see any light..  130 rnd capacity just like regular mids.   kinda pricey at 40-45 a mag but well worth it, seeing how I always find a way to break tracer units at 90 bucks a pop..  now g&p just needs to make em for the g36 and mp5

With rounds and all it cost about 500 bucks I already had some rounds laying around and only needed two more.   the thing is BAD!!!    the range sucks after about 100 ft but when you let 120 bb's fly all at once at some poor sucker, it is a sight words cant describe,  I'm going to order some foam slug rounds for it next,  oh yeah, and a Co2 adapter...
