SRC has a great G-36 line.  CA or G&P are supposed to be great brands when it comes to ArmaLites.  And G&G, VFC, and STAR all have very nice SCARs.  I just named the big ones, and I don't really know who makes the best AKs, though (I've heard VFC and Dboys).  All of these are what I've heard and experienced first-hand.  Let me know what you're interested in, and I'll give you why I think it's better than another brand.

Funny. You actually mentioned the 3 guns I was most interested in. Please, tell more. Also, who makes a good FAMAS? I was somewhat interested in them as well.

General Airsoft Discussion / what next?

So I'm needing to sell my precious Echo 1 G36K because I badly need the money and I haven't been able to do any games in quite a long time. (By the way I'm selling it stock for $150, 20 less than I bought it for and hardly used if anyone's interested.) But I'm hopefully getting into the border patrol, and when I do, I'll be making bank compared to what I used to do. So I'm already planning on what to get next. I want you, the people of this site, to tell me your opinions on what a good brand to look at is, types of guns, any suggestions on a good way to go. My interests are either gunner capabilities and/or great accuracy. Please give me your honest thoughts and your reasons for said thoughts.

General Airsoft Game Discussion / rebuilding team! need members!
« on: March 24, 2009, 03:41:53 PM »
Me and my friend here in Casa Grande had a team, but a combination of people losing hours/jobs and other people being n00bz forced us to practically end our team. We had about 10 members but now we only have 2 (one being myself, 3 if I count the guy that needs to get a gun) still faithful to the cause. Two of them now airsoft somewhere else, one lost his job and can't drive down here as often. Another lost his job/ is lazy. One can't even afford a gun yet. And another still needs a gun. We have another couple guys who want to join up, but until we have more people, its not worth going. All we need is dedicated, mature members with their own gear. Gun, mask or other proper eye protection, bringing your own ammo is a plus, OR helping pay for ammo works too. FPS requirements. Try to keep guns 300 to 400, no higher than 450 preferably, unless its a sniper weapon. Then we prefer no higher than 500. You also need to be a team player. Follow orders when given on the field. But we're still open to other ideas. We would appreciate it if you can make it at least 1-2 Saturdays per month. Early morning, getting to location by about 7am, ending when we run out of water, ammo, or energy. Usualy around 2 or 3. Too many times did members "not wanna go". Currently we play at the Pit, which is just outside AZ City or a house that we found. We dedicate as much of ourselves to airsoft as possible money permitting. If you are interested in playing a game some weekend, (we can schedule one) let me know on this very forum, or you can call or text me at this number: 520-705-2562
Hope to hear from someone soon!

Troubleshooting / replacement G36 charging handle
« on: February 25, 2009, 04:24:09 PM »
Hi everyone. I got a small problem. The charging handle on my Echo G36 broke off. Its just the part you actually pull on to bring it back.I can't seem to find a replacement online. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Much thanks.

I live in Casa Grande. About 4 years ago a friend and I got interested in airsoft. My first gun was a EBB Desert Eagle. It was such a piece of crap. But it was awesome for me at the time, and I was immediately addicted to airsoft. I've been thru MANY guns til now and I finally got me a good weapon. I currently own an Echo1 G36. No upgrades yet but planning on a few.
