Niiiice. You gotta apply a little force to move the cheek rest, but imo it isn't THAT impossible to adjust. When you're finally able to test it out, can you tell me if your included PMag hi-cap wobbles immensely in the mag well causing feeding issues as well? Also, some words of advice: don't get too uppity with the charging handle.

I'm still new to the sport, but I am not quite sure what FDE means, but if the link you provided is the same gun in the Redwolf link then I'm going o snatch it up.

EDIT: It doesn't look like they ship to America
FDE = Flat Dark Earth (essentially tan)

UNCompany is one of the oldest and more reputed HK dealers around; of course they ship to the United States. The version stocked at UNCompany isn't the G&P upgraded CQB version.

http://soldiersystems.net/2009/12/18/cr ... for-brits/

Just saw the video tonight linked elsewhere, but I saw this and noticed that the uniform seen in the BBC video didn't have such DPM-esque "swirls" on his MTP uniform. Whether this was just to demonstrate the color scheme of the new uniforms or if they decided to scrap the DPM swirls I dunno.

I remember reading some speculation stating that with the British Army adopting the Crye pattern for their uniforms this means that the US Army can't, but given the fact that the current UCP Delta uniforms being phased in in A-Stan are really just for trials (from what I've been reading) Multicam does still stand a chance.

Don't have the G&P, but yeah Eihger is pretty much spot on. According to Redwolf the G&P features:
Quote
- 8mm bearing complete gearbox (GP857A)
- Metal Air Nozzle (SR-25)
- M120 High Speed Motor (GP561)
- Precision Inner Barrel
Compared to the stock A&K which comes with 7mm bushings, (at least i think so, i didn't measure) a <1J spring, a fairly low torque motor, and a 14.5 in 6.08mm inner barrel, the extra $90 or so is well worth it down the road seeing as CQB barrels are selling like hotcakes and at $53 at that.

In regards to my Masada, I purchased mine from RSOV immediately after discovering ASGI's ludicrous price margin. I took advantage of the 12% discount to shave off $24~ bringing the total in (shipped!) at about $225. Came in a week or so after I had ordered complete with the orange flashhider and everything. (which comes off easily with a few blasts of CLP :D)

Now, since from what I've been told A&K has been cleared by Magpul PTS to manufacture what have been called "sportline" Masadas by guys on Arnie's, we should be seeing some more being released in 2010. This doesn't exactly apply to the G&P customs I would imagine, however.

But all that aside, Eihger, Masadas in FDE are still in stock at UnCompany. If FDE isn't exactly your cup of tea then.. i dunno.

You heard right... The Army times article discussing it was mentioned in the article.

The article also mentioned something about possibly "adopting a solid color that works well with all combat uniform patterns" in regards to vests and gear like the Marines. Funny because the gear industry has been making UCP products since it's induction, and now they might just flat-out stop. Amused me somewhat.

But yeah, the buzz about the new camo has been hitting all kinds of places on the internet, and imo UCP Delta/Mirage looks great when it comes to operating in environments with lots of dead flora and masonry.. But that's just about it.

Personally i'm not so much tired of it but rather just amused at the kinds of crazy shit the bot spams because I'm sure all of us are absolutely big fans of German viagra and Bollywood sex films! (haha what)
