Count me in! Awesome game last weekend and the neighbors in the area really liked us there and were all very friendly and even let their kids watch us play.

AEG's / A&K m249 battery questions
« on: August 21, 2010, 10:22:38 PM »
I recently aquired a A&K(Echo1) M249 with a full stock.  I thought with a gun this size my standard large 9.6v batteries I put in my AK and M14 would fit. No go. For a support weapon I would not think a mini style battery would have enough mah for extended use. Am I really only stuck with li-po batteries? If so will they work with basically stock internals only upgrades consisting of a tightbore barrel and m120 spring? I am basically looking for batteries to fit in the full stock and last as long as possible keeping reliability in mind.
Any ideas?

Awesome game! Thanks again to all the staff and players for making it a great game.
Now, lets get some pictures up!

If there is someway like with paypal or something to register that would be cool. It isnt always easy to drive all the way to gearbox to register.

Pictures already!

Great game! Too bad the heat was a bit much but still thaks for putting it on!
P.s: Sorry Mike but god hates you.

Had a great time wanted to say thanks!
This game really had it all times where I did not even need a weapon (sliding the bank teller a robbery note or blowing up the federal building) and had some awesome shootouts like when we ambushed the American contractor or when I shot at the contractor and he put a 20K bounty on my head!
Cant wait for the next one!

Ya, just put a piece of duct tape over the backside.
I have used my TM AK for over 7 years and thats all I needed to fix that problem.

I just thought it was in poor taste to complain about an entrance fee on a game that you are not hosting.

Do you have an updated roster for the game? Tastyfish and myself registered at Gearbox over the weekend but nobody knew what the total count was.

I find it ironic that guys pay hundreds of dollars for gear and guns but complain about a entrance fee to a game to actually use all that stuff...

Either way I might be in +2 once I hear back from a couple people.

I bought this mag:
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/magazines/dr ... eable.html

Did not know it will not work on my classic army m14, it will only work on tokyo marui based m14s. Also, the charger for the rechargable battery is a euro plug designed for 220v. But the mag still works if you manually wind it if you dont use the battery.

I am looking for either $20 or trade for any mags what will work for my classic army m14.

Either PM, email or txt/call me at 602-885-2106.
