I have 4 (out of a box of 7) MAG brand VN mags that failed within two uses. And the other box that a teammate bought of MAG VN's didn't work right, either.

So MAG also must have poor quality control?

Maybe on that product line. I have seen hundreds of MAG brand full-size m4 midcaps that worked flawlessly (with only a few that didn't work quite right). I have seen lots of faulty full-length king arms m4 midcaps that sucked a big one... and I have never seen a faulty king arms VN mag. So it is more likely that their QC is non-existant or their "engineers" are inconsistent in specc'ing through multiple product lines.

I believe the term "quality control" is being misapplied in this aspect. Quality Control's purpose is simply making sure that a product meets physical design spec's as printed on schematic/blueprints/drawings/whatever you want to call your manufacturing spec sheet. If those spec's weren't set out right to meet design intent, the best QC in the world won't make the product meet the design intent, only the manufacturing spec.

It might be worth the question: were you looking for full-size m4 mags, or VN-sized?

Well, it will never make up for dealing with little shitheads like that...

I had nothing but positive experiences with King Arms VN mags. They fed in pretty much anything we tried them in (the exception was a g36 with an m4 magwell adapter): including a dboys m4.

If you can hit 60 amp peak rates, you should be fine for whatever airsoft needs you have.

Not quite sure how this would be established but it would be great if i could get notifications send directly to my phone via sms somehow, Say someone sent me a pm i would get a automated text saying Soandso send you a message and then list the message or Soandso replyed to your topic then list the reply.This would be extremely convenient for someone who doesent allways have access to the internet or have mobile web on your phone (like me)

Get gmail. Have gmail route your email notifications to your phone via text message. Problem solved.

When I was running KWA G18Cs I'd usually run with the hi flow valves in the mags, now losing them would not only mean losing the mag, but the hi flow valves that came with them. Seeing as how I didn't even have the tools or know how to install them at the time, I had reason to be conservative.

Lost mags suck! Doesn't matter if it's just a cheapy mag or a super-nice extended mag with hi-flow valves covered in gold. They ain't cheap, and it does suck.

I've seen the mag guards used successfully... after seeing one guy lose 4 mags in 4 games from his kjw 1911.

Interesting product, but I'm reminded of my first airsoft game, one of the more experienced players had his sidearm holstered, but I noticed he didn't have a magazine in it. I pointed it out and he said he normally doesn't have a magazine in because they can be lost in the hustle of an airsoft game. The rationale was you should always have your AEG with you and it should always be properly maintained, I've hardly ever found myself in any situation where I needed to use my GBB.
