Airsoft Items FOR SALE / CA33E Accessories
« on: March 19, 2010, 04:03:55 PM »
I realize pretty few people use the CA33E, but I'd rather try to find a home for these than just leave them buried in the garage. I can tell you that the R.I.S is a fantastic addition to the CA33E, and that it's pretty pricey retail. PM me if you're interested, I'd like to meet up at Gearbox Airsoft unless you end up living closer to me than that.

If you buy it all together it's a $60 package deal.

CA33E R.I.S - $50

CA33E Midcap - $10
CA33E HiCap - $15

Thanks for the input man. The CA is still most likely what I am going to be getting.

Exactly. Also wondering if anyone else has more to say about the G&G.

Thank you for the input - I'll take a look at the KWA's as well. I've been out of the sport for the past two years so my information is a little dated - I'll definitely have a closer look at the G&G.

AEG's / M16 Input
« on: October 05, 2009, 06:02:26 PM »
I'm looking into purchasing a new AEG - and it is going to be an M16. I need it to be around the $300 price range - I would also hope that is a good performer out of the box. But before I go out and order a CAM15A4, I was wondering if I could get some input on some different models.

Here is what I am currently considering -

1) Classic Army Armalite M15 A4 - $280. I have really heard nothing but good things about this AEG, and it seems to be the best choice for the price that most seem to go with. Any warnings or criticisms on this one would be appreciated.

2) VFC E-Series M4 200R - $270. With VFC's reputation, I'm a little wary of the low price on this model. I am having a hard time finding out about this aeg, does anyone have any experience with it? I would be happy to own a VFC for this price as long as there are no serious fallbacks.

3) G&G Full Metal GR-16 A3 - $260. Not really sure what to think on this one, I have learned to stay clear of G&G over the years..but I'm willing to give it a chance. Again, hoping for any input anyone can give me.

4) Marui M16A2 - $256. I've never owned a TM, but I'm not going to rule them out immedietly. Again, looking for input.

Any recommendations/criticisms/comparisons anyone can make would be highly appreciated, I don't want to be too hasty on this buy.

Accessories & Gear / Quality G36 Midcaps
« on: September 30, 2009, 12:30:39 PM »
Can anyone recommend a particular type of G36 midcap? Obviously I want something that doesn't jam up and is made of decent quality materials. Price isn't really an issue.

-  Thanks

Introduce Yourself! / I Have Returned

Greetings,

My name is Taylor(Nautic), I've lived in Phoenix for 15 years, and I'm coming back to the sport after a two year hiatus. My team and I used to play locally with a couple other small teams in the area, but eventually we just got too busy with school and ran out of similarily geared people to play with. Now that we're all over 18 and in College we have the time and resources to attend larger scale games abroad more freely, and the time has come to dust off my G36.

After stopping the sport two years ago I've become involved with heavy duty hiking/backpacking, and I'm thinking this should give me an edge in my return to the sport. Other interest are archery, martial arts, camping, reading etc.

I've been around the block with all types of airsoft guns; I've owned several reputable AEG's, played with gas rifles, GBB pistols, etc. I'm into law enforcement and have a future there, which is what brought me to the sport in the first place. I played for about three years in total back in the day, and made my way up to a very well upgraded CA36 which I have kept in storage. I have been in quite a few small scale games/skirmishes with between 6-20 people made up of local teams - including my own, DFA. We've played at mainly local areas including an abandoned Water Treatment Plant, which was an interesting semi-urban scenario.

Well anyway, looking forward to getting out to some games with you guys and sharpening up my rusty shooting. See you on the field.
