AirsoftGI sells CB gear? Is that in store? All I see on their site is od/tan/black/off-brand mc.

Anyone know of any american sites that sell CB slings/belts/hydration carriers or am I going to have to order from Redwolf?

On somewhat of a budget considering I'm going to be moving and all. If I go with desert marpat and coyote brown would that work well?

I can always get multicam at a later date. Just trying to save a bit of cash for now.

Well, I already found everything I need to buy pretty much. However, I was shopping for maine. Since I'm going to be moving out to Phoenix I would like an idea on what works best out there.

I know from experience shopping for maine environments that you can't just assume. I figured woodland would be best up here but multicam actually works best.

Also vest colors. I'm assuming tan or coyote brown but I don't know.

you sir, are my new favorite member.

here's the rundown; AZ is almost purely non-cqb. I would suggest setting your load-out up for somewhat ranged engagements. I mean, there is the MTT UAC, they have some cqb action. then there is the new CQB arena opening up down the street from my house.

but other than that, I havnt been to a game where a cqb setup would be better then one designed to give you some range. we do have a pretty good variety of AO's out here, you can go from being in the mountains with trees and snow everywhere one week, then find yourself hiding behind cacti for cover out in the desert the next.

oh yeah, last tip....get a hydration carrier ;)

Haha yeah I was planning on it. I'm expecting to see a big difference going from Maine to AZ.

Won't be out there in May unfortunately, my mom doesn't want to move out there until the fall. Understandable I guess ha.

Well there is a new one opening on baseline and val vista. But that's more in Gilbert. As far as CQB AZ goes, they've been down for a while claiming they're moving. It's been a while since they shut down, but I'm not too sure if they had to shut down their operation or not. Hopefully they will be up and running again soon. Aside from these two places, those are the only cqb places I know of in the area.

OP asked for NON-cqb places.
Which is pretty much every game.

Thanks, don't know why google showed me only paintball and cqb places haha.

Anyone plan on getting some of these?

I could see them being pretty useful in a night game when radio contact sometimes isnt enough. I dont think the need really warrants the price though, when you can get an Icom setup and become map savvy for alot less and solve the same problem. Im sure they will come out with cheaper ones as time goes on though.

I'm new to airsoft, but I still think they are way over priced. You can get a radio for 1/5th the price and find each other that way. Now, if they dropped the price to 125-150 each and a lot of people started buying them, I would probably buy it. It is pretty bad ass.

Edit: My bad if this is necro posting. I always forget to check dates, just figured since it was on the first page it was recent.

Hey everyone. Names Josh, 16 years old and from Maine.

I'm new to airsoft (haven't played a game yet). More than likely going to be moving to AZ in a couple months. Before I bought my first gun I wanted to know if there are any non-cqb areas to play at in AZ (Phoenix, Tempe area). I really wanted the KWA M4 RIS as my first, however, I'll obviously need a new idea if there aren't.

Thanks, look forward to playing with you all soon!
