So I've heard that vanguard is a horrible place to go to... But thank you all for the suggestions.. Tha is to raptor for inviting me to your store... Apd seems legit, what about Tempe paintball? And honestly I've pretty much decided I'm going to look into getting a KWA KM4 SR 10... I want to hold one obviously or atleast something like it. Which of these places even has something in stock like that?
A little background as well... I went to gearbox and there was nothin on the walls, this was before there was talk of closing, the guy was nice, but nothing to hold really... I don't want to go into a store and be treated like a nub if you know what I mean...

I'm in Gilbert, south of the San Tan 202, and I haven't really held a non-plastic, current airsoft gun.... where would I go to get some helpful staff, nice choices, and somewhere I can really get a "feel" for the gun?

I have seen a lot of people that are getting packages? or mystery boxes? My friend apparently had done something and he said he up and all of a sudden got a box with some Airsoft stuff, pistol, ammo, gear, stickers... he couldn't remember why he got it or what he did to get it...
I have seen some people with videos and posts on other sites about it as well... do some of the Airsoft shops give stuff away? or what is the deal? Are some people sponsored by these various shops and that's why they get these boxes of stuff?

I know money is a concern mostly for KWA, but I would rather just save double to get the full metal... and the one I want and not settle for the CQB one... if that is the only type of M4 they have out for the sportline...
On the other hand, for people just trying to get into the sport or needing a cheap gun, or a project gun, it's a great gun to start for sure. As people said, the internals is what counts for this product, externals not so much. (still polymer though)
