https://www.trinityairsoft.com/p-296-vsr-cylinder-heads-silent.aspx

I got a CA m15a4 so... I have already gotten a feel for things. And I cant pull hundreds of dollars outa my wazu so you know, I think a springer will do just fine until then. And, would the mask just get in the way?

Well I will probably buy a GBB someday, but for now just a springer. And I get really tired with foggy lens and it would prbably get old with sniping so what do you guys think about these? http://www.trinityairsoft.com/p-107-tactical-mesh-airsoft-mask-basic-v.aspx
they are mesh, so i dont know how it would work, look cheap to though. Are they considered full face mask?

Ok guys, so I have been thinking and I have decided to do this....

Buy A TM VSR-10 Gspec and some .25g bbs from trinity

then buy s scope from walmart.

Then, for christmas I can get around 200$ worth of stuff, so I will buy the rifle, play around with it stock, then when christmas comes, BANG get a 150 spring. Or maybe just a 130 spring. I have not decided on that one yet. I still need to figure out what I would have to get the support the 150 spring. SO does that sound good?

SO for Christmas...

Spend $50 for a tightbore, $40 for Deep Fire Sear set, $20 for spring guide stopper, and $20 for a 150 spring, $20 for shipping

150$

I think that should get me around 500fps, giving me a much farther reach than most other weapons. Then, since my sis is getting a camera for christmas (about 200$)
then I might even get my parents to buy some of the materials for a ghilli suit, and I am still working on deciding how I am going to make that.

So what do you guys think?? Any suggestions?

So what do you guys think about going the cheap way? Maybe get something like
 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=1915
I dont really know. 400 fps, comes with a scope, sling everything, and CHEAP! do you think I could upgrade it later if I wanted to? This is what people on another forum suggested I get instead. To get a feel for sniping first. I dont really know what to think now :(

if you really want to get rid of either of them, we could maybe work out a deal *grin* I really dont know much about gas guns, never used one, but I am looking to get into sniping. But neither of the would be a good "starter" would it? Also, the pistol, is that a good price? I kinda want a pistol someday too. hehe

so maybe I should buy the Gspec, buy either a 120 or a 130 spring, scope, and a few internal upgrades. Do you just think it would be a total waste of time and money to only get a 120 spring, gspec, and a scope? then maybe get more upgrades later on?
But to get a good rifle, that would out reach a stock aeg, would this work...

Gspec -http://www.trinityairsoft.com/pc-83-20-tokyo-marui-vsr-g-spec-sniper-spring-airsoft-gun.aspx

Spring - http://www.trinityairsoft.com/ps-269-40-vsr-springs.aspx

Scope - something from walmart

then would I need a cylinder head? - http://www.trinityairsoft.com/ps-296-40-vsr-cylinder-heads-silent.aspx

Wow that seems to be pretty cheap. What upgrades did you put into it? Can you usually outrange a AEG? I would be perfectly fine with spending 250$ to get a pretty good rifle.

<edit> scratch that, I thought you ment 250$ for the whole thing including the gun. lol I may still buy the gun, a few upgrades, and work my way up from there. I dont know...

ya but I wouldnt need those right away, and they could be christmas presents :D but I am mostly thinking about things I would need from the get go, just to make it a good rifle. I would also prolly get a bipod but not right away. Is there any other websites that sell parts beside trinity? I havnt found some of the parts you mentioned...

ok, well I have 560 some dollars that I would be willing to spend, not wanting to, but I would if I had to. So lets say that money is not a issue, what would I have to buy to make a fairly good sniper rifle? Do you think I could pull off spending close to 300$ on a gun?

g spec - 230$
tightbore - 55$
spring 130 or 150 - 18$
and all the other stuff that I dont really know the prices on - ?$

these prices are off trinity

hmm, you make a good point, what spring is it that is 500fps? I forgot...
this would run me over 300$... hmm. Maybe do you think, I could start out having less fps? then if I really like it, make it more? or is it easier to just bump it up to 500fps right away? and with sniping, never done it before, is there a limit on how close you can shoot?
