Yes, maybe your folks should invest in your COLLEGE education, you know, seeing as how you spelled college incorrectly.

Get off your high pony there kid.

Goodnight.  At some moments I feel the need to go on a random punching tangent and this is one of those moments.

I served... I don't need to pretend and airsoft isnt about pretending to be in the military... MilSim is nothing like that and you learn that at national ops like the one I just came home from.....

well i am going to lion claws

Milsim is a better way to classify airsoft and it was what i was aiming for

Like you're the one who's actually paying for it.

Why don't you spend your parents cash on something more important.
Per say a car??

a car is nice but collage sounds better

airsoft is just a hobby and its not expensive with the discounts i get

i didnt know much about AA games. i thought you guys played in the open desert... sorry

oh and Doc. i didnt mean to speak for you. just that airsoft is based on pretend military

Doc Hollywood welcome back to the real world, I'm glad that you desided to get outa there.  You always seemed a bit out of place with them in my oppinion.

the real world? he still plays airsoft

marauders prices are the way they because mike needs money to fund his big games and props.

how else could we have open games every week and big games every month.

prices are also for the island

oh and if ur 21 and spending ur money on "b00bs" then thats pretty sad.
beer is understandable.

While some minors might be mature enough for this sport, many are not.  Unless their has been a drastic change at Marauders games from last time I went, it just proves the point.  tgriff, you really don't have a point of reference to argue from as you have only seen one side of it since you aren't old enough to attend AA games.  Every older player I personally know (as in 18+) feels the same way about Marauders games as I do.  I am sorry, but that is just the way it is.

Case in point, last Marauders game I went to there was a younger player crossing the opening of sniper field.  My brother, a friend of mine, along with myself were all behind one of the forward bunkers.  The player in question was not in any particular hurry nor making any effort to hide his movement.  His was literally strolling across the field.  All three of us took a few quick bursts at him.  We could see the BB's hit him, he even jumped.  It was obvious he wasn't expecting other players out there.  He proceeded to start running to the nearest hole for cover.  We continued to shoot at him (and hit him).  Yet he sits in the hole and starts to return fire.  This was a completely blatant violation of the rules.  He was hit (repeatedly), but apparently decided it didn't matter for one reason or the other.  So my brother and I laid down some cover fire while my friend charged the kid.  As soon as his head popped up, my friend sprayed the guy.  The kid raises his gun and starts returning fire.  My friend was no more than 15 feet from the kid.  He could hear the BB's bounce off him, yet nothing.  I think he was about ready to physically hit the kid.

Ive dealt with players like that but i dont let them get away
i turn them in and may sound stupid but it improves everyones game

i know im a minor and im not here on AA to complain i just like airsoft and i respect the adults on here and its understandable why they dont like the younger community since AA games our built for adults. i just never knew the adults had an issue with the minors since at the marauders games they have given us compliments and rarely do adults cheat.

now i understand.

i know what you mean that you dont want to be held responsible for hurting a minor in a game.

but if there playing with adults then there the ones that are taking the risk and if they dont want to get shot in face consider wearing a full face mask or wearing extra gear.

parents should know that their kids can get hurt out there and not just be getting shot but by maybe twisting their ankles or falling.

but the point is that AA has a good thing with just adults only and since marauders host open games (for the moment) and big scenario games witch kids enjoy and his covered with some ensurance.

also if kids on AA want respect then they should show some respect and they should see some in return.

that had to do with gaining respect?

but then again

good point

There seems to be some type of issue playing with individuals that are minors and adults

Personally ive never had major proplems with either

Some of the younger kids need a chance to learn and asorb the game
and listen

but besides that what are the major proplems between the two?
