I would also like to thank the Phantom guys for showing up saturday morning. Otherwise my three Spec Ops guy would not have been able to hold Restrepo and would have been toast.

I have been home just long enough to eat real food for the first time this weekend, shower, and use REAL plumbing. This was, without a doubt, the BEST C.C. game i have attended. And I would like to thank all of the event staff and special advisers for creating an event that I will remember for the rest of my airsoft career. And for not calling the game when nearly everybody left saturday night. And I would also like to thank the 9 other people who stayed for the sunday portion game. It was as good, if not better than the events of saturday. Dog ass tired, but a fantastic weekend, none the less.

Perhaps I missed it, but is there a map that is supposed to be attached to the intel packet?

General Airsoft Game Discussion / Re: Some LCX pictures

This game will provide me with memories that will last the rest of my life. It was an awesome experience that i doubt will ever be beat. I have so much respect for the Zulu guys, The DHawks, Saguaro, and the rest of the guys attached with Black 5.

I have to say after all this reading, i was one of the STALKERS moving during the apparent cease fire. Because i had my radio on a separate squad channel, and my designated radio man took off, i did not hear the call come in. Also, i was way the hell out of the way, so i didn't even hear the people yelling for a cease fire, if in fact they were.

Now on to the bunker match. I had a pistol. I went against a guy with a p90, reaver i believe. I didn't give two squirts about what he had, because he was using semi only. And because I still shot him out. Even after he shot me in the dick the previous round. Was i mad, not at all. Its part of the game. going against odds makes you a better player. Well i can understand the disgruntlement of the player who got nailed with the shotgun, but i would put on my big boy pants, and just deal with it. Wasn't the first time something like that has happened, and it won't be the last. Just ask anybody who has had the misfortune of having a bb implanted into their body.

General Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Battlefied 3 VS. MW3.
« on: April 23, 2011, 02:49:41 PM »
Seeing as how Black ops was a major disappointment to me, Im getting BF3 without hesitation. The multi-player of the Battlefield games is second to none on the console. I will probably get MW3, but only after a few reviews are out. No need wasting another $60 on something that I could have just rented instead and been equally disappointed about.

General Airsoft Discussion / Re: Want Recommendation to go to LC event

Before somebody vouches for you, they might want to get to know you beyond what you say about yourself. Best thing you can do is play some games with the LC vets, so they can get a feel for you. And since you live in Tucson, you should look on TAC. Talk to the guys who have attended some LC games there.

Can i get replacement ICOM batteries from red dog? Or are there other places people would recommend for the batteries?

For the budget minded, get Motorola talkabout style. They are the one pin, and have an abundance of headsets for them. Or if you have the money, get an ICOM F4S, as it seems to be the standard for high end airsoft. I got mine off ebay in a fierce bidding war for $56.

Ive got three people from Tucson that are debating going right now. Probably in woodland like at RS.

I know there are a few people who usually go to lion claws, what faction do you go with? I think id rather be shooting With you guys this time, instead of against you.

It felt smaller because you kept on getting pushed back. I know game control stopped us at least twice, and had to move us back, because we were right on top of you, encircling your spawn. I wish more people signed up for the US side. And that half your forces didnt leave you saturday. I think if you had more bodies, the game would have been even more intense than it already was.
