Mouting camera to handgun
« on: August 19, 2006, 05:57:29 PM »
Has anybody ever seen a handgun mountable camera?  Thinking about something mounted on the rail portion of Glocks and some 1911's?

Interesting, I might invest some money in this if you're willing to.

This is the closest that I've found

Very nice find.

It is actually reasonably priced compared to the other helmet/gun cams.

May I suggest ebay?

I like my method better...

In all actuality though. This really seems like it would be a good invenstment if you wanted to make a promotion video or something...which, I have been wanting to do for quite some time now.

Looks as if it will attach directly to a helmet or the barrel a rifle.

The price is always a plus.

But, it looks like it won't work on a handgun, unless you can figure out a way to mount it like the Crimson Trace laser units for the Glock.

Paul had a crazy mounting idea using a rail I sold him... lol it's sweet cause it's placed so that the sight shows up in the picture.

I wanted to get a view from under the gun, but maybe I'll switch to an ear muff mount (i.e. Muff-cam)

See attached shooting videos to see what I'm talking about

This is how I currently have to tape, but I want something for small game hunting this fall.
