Wornick?

The MREs I've eaten in the Army are packaged by SOPACKO or something like that.

Larada's had some just like the ones I've had (from the same packaging company), but for some reason they were in a clear outer package rather than the tan one.  Maybe it's so you can see what's inside?
There are three companies that make them for the US, SOPAKCO(SOuthern PAcKaging COmpany), Wornick, and Ameriqual. They all have very similar packaging...Which makes ID very confusing. All are supposedly the same, it's just that the three companies package them. Whatever, I need some MRE's.

Ok guys here are some of the prices i got today when i went to Freedoms.
Boonie Hats are priced from $7.95-$12.95 it depends on what you want, six color or three color, or the one with shotgun looking slips on it.  The MRE's they sale from what I could see were Ameriqual and SOPAKCO, and busta they might have has the Wornick kind there was 3 different types.. The rices range from about $1.50 to i belive some where around $4.00. The green gas price is $12.95 for 1000ML. And if anyone has been looking for smoke grenade type stuff they have them. They have these smoke sticks that last for 90 seconds and the smoke is very dense white but looks a little yellow when the light hits it. Those are like $1.60 or somthing like that.  They even have black cats and some other stuff. In september they will be getting in a new inventory of used tac vests from the War that is taking place in Iraq. They will be assorted colors, mainly Coyote tan I belive. If anyone is looking for a hydration pack they have them in black, coyote tan, and olive drab. they are $36.95 or around that price and they are 2 liters.  Um new desert tac boots are only $36 or $38 a pair. If you guys need the prices on anything else just let me know I can check up on it for you. well later guys, Jags87
