I have been itching to get my hands on one of these to realy see what they are capeable of and if the statements about the quality and reliability are true. The realy cool thing is that these guns are all metal and are closer in specs to real guns than airsoft guns (i.e. in thickness of the body, berrel threading and such).

That's going to end up around 900 bucks probably, and when it does, it's no longer a good deal. The only one that's worth anything is the M4-A1 with the Crane stock, as it as the new electronics package. The earlier PTW models had problems recognizing the reseating a loaded mag, and the release of the bolt, so on and so forth.

While they are cool, the transition costs (mags, gun, upgrades, and so forth) are too high for what the current tech is right now.

I would also like to try one of these out for myself. Maybe one day. The only problem is that there is no local tech for it, so if it goes down, you're totally screwed.
