did I just wake up in 1988 ???

As much as the first 34 Rambo movies sucked.. the previews of this one look decent... I'll take the risk and check it out....

It's awesome.

I liked it, but was surprised by how short it was.

Short it may have been; but for those 71 or so minutes (it says 93 minute runtime but I think 22 of that was credits), I was moved.

A very powerful message about love and love lost.

I liked everything about the movie except people getting blown back 10 feet from getting shot by a .50 caliber rifle. It made for some cool damage shots though. ;)

usafcajun...that was very informative.  I was not going to go. I was going to wait until DVD-time, but you have convinced me.

I will, however, have to stop reading this thread --I don't want anymore spoilers.  The burning kid was enough...

Here is the essence of the movie.

If Rambo was a video game, its like turning god mode on, with unlimited ammo.

I have not been this entertained by a movie for a loooooooooooooooong time.  It was spectacular.
