I dont see how this "debate" is any different than what was already discussed at length here:

Nor do I think that there is much to "debate" about this subject.

Honestly, is their really peace ANYWHERE?
Let alone Iraq.

Iraq is geographically placed that peace will be very hard/close to near impossible.

Mabye a better question would be "Do you think Iraq will ever have a sound political system?"

Basically what he said. That's like asking if hatred will ever end.

If you're talking about if they'll ever form a union or whatnot, then still no. With all the history that's happened in the Middle East there's no way. Probably the only scenario that could make them become united is if their memories were all wiped clean.

For the politically sound question, then still no. It might last for a couple years (or maybe even decades if we're lucky) after the US pulls out, but then some left-winged radicalist is going to come in and take over with an AK and a couple of pounds of C4. Too much going on with religious beliefs for people to just accept how things are :

I vote no, for all regions of Earth, except maybe Antarctica.  History has always shown fluctuations of peace and violence, neither one lasts forever.

With that statement in mind, the question needs to be changed to which region will have the most overt (i.e. outright) conflict as compared to the rest of the planet. Right now Africa is not looking too good with its ethnic based violence, and of course the Middle East is not doing too well with its religious based violence. I'm betting the next overtly violent region will be Asia with something happening either as a direct result of or as a reaction to something North Korea does.
