Well, at 450fps, you can't use your G36 at any field. As for the grenade launcher, here are a few links-

I don't know how much you will actually need, or use, the grenade launcher. But it looks pretty cool.

Hey Sleeper, fyi, the search function on this website works.

http://www.airsoftarizona.com/forumbb/v ... c&start=15

All airsoft grenade launchers use the same basic firing mechanism. This should be found helpful.

I had a G&P M203 on my M4 for a while.  I ended up selling it because I only used it once every 3 games or so.  Plus, you can just switch your APD G36 to god mode and hose people.

Underslung grenade launchers aren't as cool as you would think. Their only real use is at national OPs or other OPs where there's vehicles that are only destroyable by howlers.

Or close quarters, where a blast from a 203 can deter a team attempting to make entry(sucks to be the first man!).

Like Spazz said, it does add wieght, but if you use it enough, you might find it worth the wieght. I was lucky enough to be lent one for a few hours, and I enjoyed using it, and used it every round, when appropriate.

The biggest downside, is cost. They are expensive, and extra grenades are fairly expensive, especially for something that can't be reloaded effeciently in the field.

Do you mean that a single grenade can't be reloaded and re-used quickly? (I can imagine that)
Or changing whole grenade rounds is not very efficient and quick?

Just curious.

It's way too hard to reload BB showers in the field.

I'm sorry I did not clarify. I meant after the shell is fired, it is a pain in the ass to refill it with BBs and gas.

Truth. It can take upwards of 4-5 minutes to effectively load one large cap shell, even with a standard speed loader. I'm working on a special speed loader just for the shells, and I'll post a report as soon as I get a chance to test it.

I have one on my mp5 a4 and love it. it is a blast to shoot. the loading times, and wieght issues are troublesome, but they are well worth it.
