People are fools for thinking Clinton wasn't a war-monger.  His use of the military in the NATO strike in Yugoslavia in 99' was slipped right under congress's nose.  That mofo was shady.

Agreed. Great foreign policy, tried relentlessly to broker peace between Palestine and Israel, pretty fine domestic policy, just that one hummer. :P

The fact that the Clinton administration allowed the US embassy bombings by al Qaida to go nearly unpunished keeps him from my top 3.  He was a good Prez, and was well-respected internationally (pre-lewinski), though.

However, those events, and the lack of punishment did nothing but bolster al Qaida and other anti-US terrorist groups.
