It would be allright. The one bad thing is Evike will do anything to make you think the gun is good. They are bad shippers and youll be lucky if you get the right color/model.

okay...so i wasnt really specific lol...do you think it'd be acurate? also...how far do u think it could shoot...id prolly get a barrel and a new spring...im kinda going for a sniper type gun i guess..but an aeg so i wont get outshot

Why not just get the TM M14?

I can understand the price thing but if you were going to upgrade it anyway just buy the TM one and leave it stock, and it will outperform that one right out of the box.

Shitty guns cost more in the long run, with repairs and replacement parts, get a quality aeg to start with and save money.

I'm gonna vouch for the TM M14, I own the SOCOM 16 version, and it's the best stock gun i've ever owned.
