Star L86

Hey guys I just got a star L86 and I wanted to know if anyone had any good upgrade opinions. I'm really new to the sport and I know most of you are probably  saying to your selves, "what is that n00b doing with that gun." well this was my situation. I figured I wanted something different and something that would last for awhile. Well anyway Ill have pics after sunday at red dawn.[/list]

Well anyway the gun didn't do to well at red dawn. It basically jammed over 6 times and then apparently all of the gears stripped. This is all after only one game. WTF? Can anyone tell me like what I did wrong?

You dry fired it too much... and fired it when it was jammed.

Its a SAW, what good is it if you can't spray 1000s of rounds very very quickly?

Depending on what variant he got, it might MODELED after a SAW.

That doesn't mean the gearbox is ready for it.

 :roll:  man thers a diffrence between airsoft and real steel... even real stell if you fire 1k rnds quickly youll probably melt the barell.

I just feel real bad for him, he's a good friend of mine, this was his 1st gun at his 1st big game, and to have it break on him like that is just, unfortunate. We'll get things taken care of. Still, while it worked, this thing was a beast.  And Devin, on a side note, Hail Moore!

yeah...I feel bad for him too just train him to shoot 1 or 2 MAx 3 second burts if he cant hit them in 3 2 second burts he probably wont hit them.
