I have a Remington 700 PSS in .308 and a Remington 700 ADL in .223. Obviously, the 308 has quite a bit more kick. What would you like to know? I use the 308 and my wife uses the .223. The 308 has Laupold Mark IV mount and rings and a Leupold Vari-X III 6.5-20x40 scope on it while the .223 has a Tasco Super Sniper Scope - 10x42. I didn't get a Mark 4 scope because I found it difficult to justify spending more on the scope than the rifle.
I am having the barrel on the .223 cut down to 20" and threaded. It will be the host gun for my TAC16 suppressor, but will also be able to accept a flash suppressor, and therefore my Gemtech HALO if I so desire.
As for a Remington 700, I can't say I have heard of the "SPS" version.
