I wish I had a nice springfield 1903A3, have not found one yet.

Dittos here

A little gunshop down here had a 30-40 kraig for $325 that I was eyeing really closely. But when I finally decided to go down and get it, it had already walked away. Ah man...  But thats where I did find my 1902 colt. Check the prices on THOSE! I got mine for $525! I couldnt contain my excitement!

Ummm...the CMP is out of Garands...the commercial market for original M1 garands is closed. I was among the last few hundred to get one.

So you are right, Its been a while since I last checked (Infact several months)

They do still have 1903 Springfields with high number recievers (Read: Fireable)  they are 500 a peice.  I would be willing to bet the CMP is going to be getting ahold of a few more Garands due to their popularity they might go out of their way to buy some.  They do have some Garands still for sale but they have pitted recievers etc which could be hazordous to fire those are about 325 bucks each plus shipping.

Yeah. I wasn't counting those cause they're not worth buying anyways. Unless you are/know a good gunsmith. And even then it would probably cost more than a brand new replica by Springfield Armories.

M1 Garand>M1 Carbine. (You can ask Ganef about that one :P)

KBs arent fun. Whatever you get, feed it good ammo, a few cents more per round may save you the cost of a $2K gun.
