And sorry to ask again, but I might put in the order tonight, is this the
spring guide stopper?

and is this the cylinder head?
https://www.trinityairsoft.com/p-296-vsr-cylinder-heads-silent.aspx

and, are these the piston sears? Will I need both of them? or just one?

https://www.trinityairsoft.com/p-293-vsr-sears-for-trigger-and-piston.aspx

thanks for all of your help, I might be putting in the order tonight, wish me luck!

You will be happy with the Gspec, just take good care of it!  I have one and love it!

No. That is a spring guide, a nice part to have, but not the spring guide stopper. Check this link: http://www.airsoft-war4.com/details.php?pid=2012
It is the part that goes behind the spring guide and holds it in place when you draw the cylinder back.

Yes.

Those are the sears.  Need both of em.  I used deep fire sears for a 550fps upgrade and they worked just fine.  I actually bought a Mosquito Molds cylinder set which gave me a new spring guide, cylinder, cylinder head, and piston for a lot cheaper than the Laylax parts.  I loved the MM set too.  I think those run 80 + shipping.  Of those parts, I think the spring guide stopper is your lowest priority.  If you don't have an upgraded spring guide I'd get that first.

Email me if you have any more questions.  I spent a lot of time and money upgrading a VSR so I can help you out if you need.

Cheers from Illinois,

Mobaar

Haha, that spring guide stopper fell out in my last game in my sniper rifle and the bolt started cocking backwards so the the bolt fell backwards and then you had to force it forward instead of pulling it back.  Unfortunately I found out after the game when I took my gun apart.  And another thing, the vsr-10 is an easy gun to take apart.

Ok I have been wanting a VSR for some time now even though I havent played in a while. After reading this thread... I want one more. So, this one is for Mobaar.

The gun: VSR-10 Pro (Im starting off with the pro because I plan on upgrading the inner barrel anyways)

Ok, when it come to fps I would like about 500. So than which spring would I want to get close to that.

I also plan on upgrading the Spring Guide, Spring guide stopper, piston head, upgraded sears, and scope mount.

Than for the barrel which brand would u suggest? If I had the time I would make one at work out of chrome-moly or similar material but I cant.

Money is not a very major issue but saving is good.

Thanks,
Beans
