Rig Stolen
« on: May 25, 2007, 10:55:18 AM »
During a late night movie, my WEESATCH and all the attached pouches, mags, and tools were stolen out of the back of my truck.

It's a tan WEE with an OD gadget pouch, tan dual mag pouch, and tan dual frag pouch, 3L hydro, admin pouch. It has the upgraded shoulder straps, pads, and it has NO MAG RETENTION. in it were a small tool kit, 8 mag mags with mag puls, a gerber knife, and a speed loader.

If any of you could help me by keeping an eye out on ebay and such, I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks

Repeat after me:

"I won't leave my next kit in my truck bed."

"I won't leave my next kit in my truck bed."

. . .

Unfortunately, there's not much you can do other than file a police report.  If it was left in the bed, I highly doubt insurance will cover it.

If it was locked up, you'll get an insurance check, minus the deductible.

I wouldn't hold your breathe while you look for it on egay.  I don't think whoever stole it will realize what it is enough to know its value and make a listing.

Cut your losses and be careful next time, dude.

it was in my cab, smart ass. i know you're just kidding, but i'm not exactly in the joking mood when it comes to this.  they smashed the window and took it from under the bdu jacket i covered it with. but thats all they took. they left the knee/elbow pads, leg rig, multicams, charger, the money and the knife in the center console, was all left there... all that was taken was the wee.

edit: The cops did come out and i filed a report. CSS also came and printed the window frame on the door. Chances are, all they're going to get are my prints.

however, the pawn shops in the phx/scottsdale area and ebay might very well get the rig and the components seperately.

No apologies bro, I know what it's like to have your ride broken into.

On the bright side, Insurance should take care of it especially if it was not in plain sight.

Good luck.
