Anyone try the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 PC demo?
« on: July 05, 2007, 10:24:59 PM »
I downloaded the single player demo as soon as it was announced. So far it seems way too easy, after a couple of runs you'll know where most of the Mexican rebels are. You can probably take all of them down with an M14/G18 combo and still have ammo to spare for the second half of the demo.

I don't have the demo, but I was in the beta and that was the impression I got as well.  You could single handedly wipe out a small army just with the 18.

Havent tried the single player yet, but in multi player I can take out hordes of guys with the single shot 50 cal and the G18.  Supposed to be realistic, yeah, Ok...

Graphics are good and I like that there is no bunny hopping, but that's about it.

*sigh*

I guess the AI didn't cahnge much from the first game then. Hell it looks like not much has changed except for the addition of some new weapons and the camo pattern going from Multicam to ACU.

I think I'll finish the first game before buying this sequel.

If you have the first one, I wouldn't bother buying the second one.  IMO wait for Quake Wars.  I've been having a blast playing that.  Graphics are quite nice to boot.
