June 7 AirsoftArizona Game @ Prescott
« on: May 30, 2003, 02:29:15 PM »
AIRSOFTARIZONA OFFICIAL GAME INFO

For Saturday, June 7, 2003 (next Saturday) @ Prescott:

EVERYONE MUST TURN IN A NEW WAIVER FOR 2003!!

If you haven’t turned one in this year, please go to the web site under the "links" section, print it out, fill it out and bring it to the game. Please fill out the waiver COMPLETELY and bring it with you to the game. A partially completed waiver will NOT be accepted at ALL. There will NOT be any extra copies of it, so print it out and fill it out BEFORE you come.

We will meet at the gas station just west of the I-17 on the north side of Anthem Way. We will LEAVE for the AO in Prescott at 7AM (get out of bed early and prepare the night before!) so plan on being there at about 6:30AM if you don't know where we're going!  Once in the general area of the AO in Prescott, please put your radios on Channel 4(0). If you need to get a hold of me, my cell phone is 623-221-100 (but I don’t get reception in Prescott). Those of you who have gone to an AA game in Prescott – this game will be in the same area.

Please remember: Come prepared to pack in and carry all the gear/BB's/Batteries/Ammo you plan to use for the games!! There is a good chance that the scenarios will NOT allow you the time to go back to the staging areas/cars and gear up between them. If you are not present for the briefings of each scenario, you WILL NOT PLAY. We lose a lot of playing time during the time between scenarios when everyone seems to strip all their gear off, etc... so please plan on not being able to do that this time.

This game will be held in nice forested area up north in Prescott. The weather should be pleasant up there this time of year but, please be aware that it CAN still get quite warm (forecast for the 7th in Prescott is 87* for the high and Sunny), so take appropriate measures. This will be in the forest, so if you have it, woodland-type camoflauge/BDU's would probably be most appropriate for this game - although desert camo lends itself to good use as well (plenty of dry pine needles on the ground). Please bring LOTS of water, and food.

That being said, the local authorities for the area (Prescott) have been contacted and are knowledgeable of what we're doing there - and when, but some sheriff/police/park-rangers who are out-of-the-loop may show up not knowing what we’re doing, so please be aware.

Remember, players must meet the age rule - 18+ only (with the allowances for younger than that, ONLY when accompanied by their parent 100% of the time, or their sponsor). If someone younger than 18 shows up without a parent or their sponsor, this allowance will be removed and AA will be 18+ ONLY without any exceptions, as we have said before. So if you show up with your parent, and your parent leaves (even for 5 minutes), you ruin it for everyone under the age of 18. Sorry, but that's the way it has to be. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule - as always.

Please bring PLENTY of water
Please bring food
Please bring your GBB's
Please bring your RED RAGS - There will NOT be any extras!!!!!!!!!!!
Make sure you bring all your gear ready, batteries charged, car charger (or extra batteries), mags loaded, etc...

There have been at least a ten or so players sign up in the last few weeks. If you are one of them and this is your first game, your AirsoftArizona name tape and death rag will be given to you at the game.  Those who have signed up in the past few weeks can also pick theirs up at this game if they haven't already.

Also, don’t forget, there are rental AEG's, but for the June 7th game, it has already been rented: http://www.airsoftarizona.com/aarentals.htm
However, you CAN still rent it for the June 21st CQB AirsoftArizona game...  a great option if you don't have a stock gun for CQB.

Please do not remove ANY of your airsoft weapons before we get to the field. After arriving and gearing up, we will go over the rules (briefly), answer questions, chrono guns and then turn in waivers. We will then briefly go over the scenarios for the day, and divide up the teams.

Good luck, and we'll see you all bright an early on Saturday morning!
