Star M14 SOPMOD

I'm very soon going to be purchasing one of these lovlies with a few Star Hicaps (looking to get some locaps from Star as well) and I was wondering from anybody who's either handled or had one what your thoughts are?

Thinking about adding a PEQ for a battery, kinda worried about front-end weight though.

Also, any ideas for sling attachment?

Any help would be much appreciated and thanks for any helpful replies in advance!

The Stars m14 has the worst gearbox to work on :? There are a few proprietary parts associated the SopMod

I bought a lot of parts from them for my Sopmod

Get the china Kart copy gearbox sells them, and for alot cheaper. Made with TM like gearbox instead.

As in takes TM parts etc. and fits in the gun...?

Ya like Guarder FTK kit, Ron has worked on alot of china copies know them in and out.

STAR M14s are shitty.

Get a TM M14 and go from there.
