We will have about 10 vehicles in the parade including the Humvees. If you are interested in riding in one of the vehicles then let me know.

The uniform will be ACU or Desert Marpat, gear, and unloaded rifle (this means no magazines).

Date: 17 Nov 2007

Time: to be announced.

Location: to be announced.

Interested, how long do you expect the parade to be?

The parade is usually a couple of hours. No you don't have to be military or ex-military you just need to be clean shaven and a military style haircut.

Remember this is about the Veterans so make your impressions look good.

Personally, it is a great chance to train your team. You could practice dismounts and hand signals for operating in different formations as well as bounding forward.

In the past I would wear my WWII impression and hand out chocolate to kids that were holding an American Flag.

Here are some of the vehicles we will have:

HumVee's-2-3
M800 series 5 ton

WWII:
M3A1 Halftrack
M20 Armored Car
M8 Armored Car
M3 Armored Car
CCKW

So for those who can't make it to Op Turkey Day for which there is no excuse because it's for a good cause, you can meet us at the end of the parade route at the IHOP just south of Warner on Gilbert road no later than 8am. Give me a call at 602.435.7508 and we will come get you. The parade will be over at about 11am.

Remember you must be clean shaven, short hair,  and no earrings etc... You have to look like a soldier. This is what reenactors consider "Living History".
