In Memory of Steve Holtgrefe
« on: December 11, 2007, 04:33:49 PM »
Quote from Arnies forum

At the Lion Claw's Appreciation Day game we lost one of our own!!!
"Troops,

Steve Holtgrefe was pronounced dead on arrival at the Antelope Valley Hospital.

Steve is a LC old timer who is passionate about airsoft. An honorable player, Steve always bring the best to the game each time he goes out. On Dec. 8, 2007 he suffered what may have been a massive heart failure while resting at the NATO FOB.

As soon as the Sheriff's helicopter took off we had a meeting with all leadership on whether or not to continue game play; all leadership, team leaders and etc., voted to endex early on the spot.

LCAD will donate the money you all contributed for the game to help Steve's family with funeral arrangement."

Some of you may have met Steve at one of the major events such as
Irene or Lion Claws. I never met him in person, But I have seen him out on the field. I am helping to spread the word to those that new him, and to ask for a moment of peace and prayer to his family.
