I have no interest in a SL8... Thats not special though, theres a lot of firearms that I have no interest in, I suppose. [:)]

As has been said before, seems kinda odd that someone would create a replica of a firearm that was created to be a US friendly version of the G36.

I suppose it'd be kinda cool to get one and construct an SL9SD out of it.

The only reason these things have sold at all in the US was because buyers could install the Special Weapons kits onto them and build up legal G36s.  Odd choice for an airsoft gun.

another piece of ugly crap and still no M14!!!  That angers me greatly!  How many lame Alien guns, and civvie replicas and Eugene Stoner creations are going to be made before I get my hands on a piece of American History?  Someone better seriously make me an M14 soon, it is sweet!  Still used by the Army, and Navy (not sure about AF, and USMC).  TM needs to get it together and create one soon.  I hope they do not try to recreate a wood-looking stock out of plastic, but rather make a plastic stock.  I would camo it anyways.  Anyone else want one as bad as me?  Seriously.  I know you all think they are cool.  But who would actually buy one?  I would, assuming the price was reasonable (if made by TM in large quantities).

Do a search for M14 in the forums.  You'll find lots of mention of wanting M14's.  You can buy one for around $950 shipped from Hong Kong.

You mean the Tim Chan custom?  I remember Paco telling me they ended that deal.  They never were made.  I will not spend that much when I can get an M1A for a little over that price.  Of course I couldn't shoot you guys with it...I will wait for TM to come along.  My M4 pleases me for now, I'll stick with it:)

Yes, the Tim Chan M14 from AirsoftClub was scrapped and the deposits refunded.  They didn't say he wouldn't finish it eventually, but they did say that it wouldn't be anytime soon - too many unforseen issues AFAIK.

Right now, your only hope of getting an airsoft M14 is a one-off that has been made from a Hudson Model M14.
