Charity Event
« on: May 11, 2008, 02:14:27 PM »
Hi everyone my name is Patrick. I've been thinking that it would be great to put on an event for charity that would also raise airsoft awareness. This is still in the brainstorming process and I do not own the kind of property that would allow for large game and event. However if enough people are willing to help with this we should be ale to find a perfect place. As of right now I'm picturing inviting airsofters and those who don't alike. We could have a DJ and maybe some games and a raffle and encourage the non airsofters to watch the matches. So if anyone would be interested in coming out to play or playing a bigger part and contributing something it doesn't have to be big, but I think it can make a difference. One obvious choice for who to give to could be the victims in Mayanmar but there are tons of deserving charities out there. Right now I can offer to DJ/MC the event with my turntable and modest vinyl collection and can donate an aeg for the raffle. Ok so that's enough just to get my idea out there for now and let me say I have no idea on how soon we could put this all together but it should be great fun. Thank you and remember this is for a good cause so anyone with connections, a fun attitude, or just bring yourself you could make it really stellar WE NEED PEOPLE LIKE YOU

Get up with superdave on the natocommand.com forums and see what they can do.  They did an event out here in NC that had close to 100 people show up and had sponsors from around the area and Airsoft Extreame.  They might be able to help.  Tell him g1zm0 from Midas Touch II sent ya.
