The jammed Kimber was actually and empty Kimber, and that one is getting a lot of attention on the various forums, as it should!  I couldn't tell if the "AKs" line was meant to further show that the captain was an idiot or if it was fimed out of sequence and they originally intended to use AKs, but it was a good laugh.  And I bet Ed Voras could land a jet on a bridge!!

S.W.A.T. Movie

I've seen it twice now and it was much better than I feared it would be and far better than our idiot local paper reviewer (Muller) listed it.  He really is a clueless idiot...

Forget that it follows basic lines for a cop movie, and that no female has been on the LAPD SWAT teams before, and that the main "escape plan" could never have been implemented on such short notice...the point is they pulled off a decent film in spite of all of that.

Enough about the merits of the film.  If you're a gunner, you'll like their choices.  M4s everywhere, couple of MP5s, Kimber 1911s galore (VERY nice), and a wonderful cameo at the end by the ever-so-lovely SIG P220 Sport.  They handle the weapons very well and except for the always-present malfunctions of the guns (due to the blanks), which always get past the idiot editors, the gun stuff is well done.  And Christian, you'll be pleased to see that they all wear those pretty helmets!

Worth your ticket price and PG13 to boot.  Nothing excessive, makes it's point, has fun with it, and shows of some nice firearms.  It's a great date movie, too, if you want to take me to see it again...
