games? am i screwed?
« on: March 09, 2008, 01:52:33 PM »
ok, I have been told that san diego fields are pretty much my best bet if I want to play airsoft, while I'm in yuma, AZ. but ANYTHING NEAR YUMA is fine. i want to play airsoft.
can anyone here list the fields for me please? id like to form my own sort of database for where I can play, and when
so, basically I'm looking for:

-info on where I can play, and when. EX: fields, dates
-contacts to aid me in finding rides, fields, teams, etc. EX: members, forums, possible rides

now remember, there are only 2 possibile ways of me attending: i either need a ride, or to convince another marine here to go. so, it needs to be semi close. i know, nothing is near yuma...
thanks guys, sorry for being such a west coast noob... I miss the east. Philadelphia=awesome

We stole the Eagle from the Air Force, the Anchor from the Navy, and the rope from the Army. On the 7th day, while God rested, we overran his perimeter and stole the Globe, and we\'ve been running the show ever since.

I thought I made myself pretty clear when I said Yuma was a lonely, shitty place.

Yuma is an awesome place to play if your lucky you can play close to the training grounds and hear some realist "noises" when your playing but I have never done it

Yeah, UXO adds 100% more intrigue to any airsoft game.

I dont think theres going to be that much of Unexploded Ordinance around there but if you find some better leave and call the Base's EOD squad out

this is gonna be a fun thread to watch.

what you need to do is tell your roomate that you wanna go up to tempe, for the weekend, you pay for gass and he drives. get a room at the motel 6 on country club and I-60 in mesa. use your military id's and you get a discount.

what works great is if you come up play airsoft, and pick up "friendly" girls your roomate will be into airsoft in no time.

now if your roomate is a salty lance cooly find another devil dog and tell him you know about some kick ass things to do in tempe, but you need a ride.

good luck

Hell I'm in the same boat as the one who started this thread.  I'd be interested in driving and hauling gear if he's willing to pay for gas.  I've got family and friends in Phoenix so no hotel needed, and would be willing to go once a month on one of my three day weekends.  I'll elaborate on the three day thing, Military Police.  Hell I hate it too, but it gets the bills paid.  Be in the area in November.  We need to find other players on the airstation too.  I'll send some emails to guys I know down there.
