Well I finally got my Noise Terminator Headset from
http://www.clearercom.com/index.htmNot only did it take forever to get here. The PTT button they show in one picture does not come with it. There is no packaging, just bubble wrap. No instructions, no nothing. When you try to recieve communications from someone using the headset you have to crank the volume just to hear them, and even then it sounds like they are talking through a styrofoam cup at you. General impression of the company and product is two thumbs down.
*UPDATE*
Sat. the 13th was the first real trial by fire of this throat mic, in an Airsoft game. Every player in the game said that I sounded clear and audible. I asked on numerous occasions, and everyone said they could hear me just fine. Why it performed so poorly when I tested it at home is anyones guess. I will be using this for the next couple of games, so if you find it hard to hear please tell me.
