Funny... I've never had an issue with any kind of LEO regarding my airball guns.

But then I dont shoot them in city limits, where people can see me.

I really dont even play local games anymore with the bar exam and all, but the local stuff I went to was on private property (thus permissible) or national forest land where shooting is A-OK.

It goes without saying that if you are within "911 there is some nut running around with an assault rifle in the field over here" range of anyone expect a visit from your local po po.  Stupid fuckheads do that.  Responsible airballers dont.  Its just dumb to rebell when it comes to toy guns.

And yes, the date on any code or regulation will indicate the date of most recent adoption or amendment.  You can always research legislative history to see the flow of changes, but why ?

Yeah, I learned it was illegal in Surprise when I was in a field across the street when I was sixteen, an officer came up to me with a CAR-15 hitched to his hip and told me it was illegal. Luckily he just sent me home.

Don't wander down to the city park with your tricked out SCAR with no orange tip and expect to not have the police called on you.

You shouldn't do that even if you have an orange tip.
