G&G GR16 R4..... What do you think?
« on: July 06, 2008, 08:26:37 PM »
What do you think about G&G? Are they a good company? Also i was looking at the G&G Limited Edition Special Force GR16 R4 Full Metal AEG. Its $320 which is about as much as im willing to spend at the moment. Is there other M4 RIS with close to 400fps at or under $320 that you recommend? Thanks for any help you might give!

Hi i would stay away from G&G i dont think they are very good AEG makers from what i hear about them , if you want a m4 AEG my friend is selling one on this link and its only 200 but used , so you would have extra money left to do what ever you want to.just a thought.

Primary:Custom M4

A \'touchy-feelie\' CNN reporter, while interviewing a Marine sniper,asked,
"What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist."  The Marine shrugged and replied, "Recoil."

I have actually had muhc success with the 3rd generation of G&G AEGS. I have the Scar-l myself, but my bro just picked up their GR16, which has been through a month's worth of games and has had no problems. Obviously this doesn't show ay long lasting quality, but I have had mine for about 8 months now and have now internal problems whatsoever. I wouldn't spend the extra money for the limited edition though, but that's just my opinion. Hope you find what you're looking for.

G&G is a good brand, but not as good as Marui.  G&G does come shooting harder and they do have better externals, but Marui has much better internals and better quality control.  I would say that if you have the money, don't want to have to upgrade and want something better than a JG or Echo: go with either the CA metal sportline or a G&G.  And if you want the best gun that you can get (although they start at under 300 FPS) and you don't  plan on dropping it; get a Marui.
