The omelet w/ham was always the land mine that nobody wanted. I was always on the lookout for the spaghetti w/meat sauce. Maple nut cake, mmmmm......

Hell yes... Spaghetti and a stolen cheese and crackers with Tabasco made a spicy lasagna man. In the 90s that was the tankers culinary delight - heated by the exhaust of an M1A2 or over the bitch plate.
And I agree...MRE (Meals Resisting Exit) was by far the best description back then.
