Airsoft Customization Software...
« on: September 02, 2008, 01:36:14 PM »
Just a wacky idea I had. I have been combing google for a few hours trying to find something like this, I had the idea after viewing several other posts that displayed customization software such as the LaRue weapons profiler and the gear customization tool. Now, my question is, is there anything like this for airsoft internals, gearboxes and such. A virtual method of custimizing a gearbox, and testing the changes in real-time on a computer would be great. I am sure software like this exists somewhere, but am unable to find it. I was wondering if anyone here knew of such a program and could help me out.
Thanks.

I don't think such a thing will exist any time soon. There are a lot of factors besides different parts that affect performance, and many of us realize that most of those expensive parts affect the performance of a gun by very little.

Simulations are great, but I would still want some real world trigger time to make sure my gearbox won't fall apart a week before a big op.
