Go Bag

Thought?  Seems decent enough when I am running around with a saw.  I would like to see however a way to attach it to a belt to help keep it from flopping around, but that might not be a problem, I just dont know.

Does anyone have experience with running one of these?

(ad yes I do know its not even 1/4343434 as good as Ganef's stuff)

Really, I think you would say it's not as good as Jim Cragg's stuff, since, that's a knockoff of an SOTech Go Bag.

I had one awhile back. It was really neat.

You can tighten the shoulder strap down though.

Overkill for use when using a saw. Get a molle belt and put some basic pouches on it full of bbs.

That was my other thought as well.  I was mostly thinking of using it to pack my camelback, but that can be fixed by just getting a small pack.

http://www.tadgear.com/x-treme%20gear/g ... doleer.htm

vid: http://revver.com/video/936168/tad-gear ... tmag-demo/

Also what do you guys think of these as seen in the vid:

isit all going to be the same, wasted money?  With the TAD I could use it when not lugging the SAW around, just strap on some pouches and a hydro-pouch.

A bandolier seems like it would be awkward.  I think a simple chest harness or belt would be the way to go.  For water you can just use a stand alone Camelbak.

heres why I was looking at them, I am a lard ass and a I get hot. lol  yes I know its a pussy move but stfu, I dont care. lol

Also I dont really even carry that much gear.  I dont use that much ammo. (unless its the saw then watch the fuck out, I am going to be cutting down some trees)  I only use 6 or so mid-caps TOPS.  If I need more I just use my fatty speed loader.

Get one of the molle belts from the gearbox and use suspenders. that will be the most comfortable and low temp kits you can get. Or listen to kurn and go with a chest rig and stand alone hydration pack.

I may just go ahead and get a nice chest rig.  seems the most logical.  I do have a decent ACU tactical vest, but its in need of repair from being shot to hell; and I also have the cummerbund that came with the Tactical Innovation rifle bag. It seems 'ok' for now.  What I REALLY want is something made by you, but thats going to have to wait.  I figure once I get into the Guard I will be issued most of the stuff I am going to need/want so why spend the $$$$ on it now.

BTW How does your gear compare to issued gear? I could see that it might be nice to have something custom made for one's self.

I have a wall of stuff at the gearbox that you can do your own comparison. Custom stuff isn't that much better, it is just for guys who know what they want, and I don't think you are there yet.

I know, every time I go I look at it.  Thats why I am asking how it compares.  Its like people who drink piss beer vs micro-brews.  If you are satisfied with piss beer its a HELL of allot cheaper, but once you taste the good stuff you can never go back.  I have yet to 'taste' the 'good stuff' when it comes to gear, but that day is soon approaching.
