Combat shirt or TRU shirt?
« on: April 24, 2009, 09:53:11 PM »
I've been putting together a multicam uni and wanted to get opinions on this?

What do you think about Tru-Spec Combat shirts?

Or do more people go with the TRU look?

Or am I WAY off in what to wear in the AZ heat....?

Thanks,
-Trey :D

Are you fat?

If so, do everybody a favor and don't get the combat shirt.

It's an honest question. The 'combat shirt' is for people who will go into, you know, combat.

Most people that go into combat don't have a 54" chest.

A skin tight top just isn't doing anything for anybody at that point.

Oh I am not questioning the validity of the question or your point.  I just thought it was funny.

Its like spandex is a right not a privilege kind of thing.

No I'm not fat...but not a little guy either...I'm 6'4" 265lbs. I guess what I'm asking for is input on what would be more practical here in AZ not what necessarily looks good. It's to go with a plate carrier as well...

Am I way off with long sleeves here the heat??

I picked up the shirt I linked above for that exact reason.  It breathes much better than a regular jacket yet you still have your sleeves.  When you take off your gear you cool off more quickly as well.

I've been using the ACU combat shirt for a while now. My only gripe with it is that I should've ordered a size larger, the sleeves are a bit short, its nothing major, but I'd rather not leave bare skin hanging out if I don't have to.
