But out of the box whats the triger like? I think the P22 is 12lbs triger pull.

Well, it's probably like 5-7 pounds. It's SAO, whereas the P22 is SA/DA.

It's the better gun, end of topic. You can look on RimfireCentral for more information.

The only close competition is the Browning Buckmark, which some people like even better.

The only reason to get the P22 is the price/if you like the look.

Mk2's, Mk3s, and Buckmarks are probably 30-40% more than a P22.

As a rule, if it's rimfire, Ruger makes the best example. Unless it's bolt action rimfires, then it's CZ.

I am a REAL STEEL DEALER here in tucson. Ths gives me a chance to handle a lot of .22Lr hand guns.  I have a P22, with AAC suppressor,I have fired  hundred of rounds of all kinds of AMMO. so far I have had NO stoppages that could be blamed on the gun.
I have also fired the SIG and it is also very well made, I did have a customer who had a rather  serious problem with his Sig the slide actualy Cracked just in front of the Dust cover (where the op rod is) The gun was replaced by SIG.
The RUGERS are solid guns, and there are a ton of after market goodies for them. they also work wel lsuppressed.
My favorite has to be My very old Hi-Srtandard M101 Dura-Matic  never lets me down.

So depending on how deep your pockets are you cant go wrong with any of these guns.

Take a look around
