What kind of lipo (voltage, mah, and C ratingg) are you running on your "stock" gearboxes. (what kind of gearboxes are they?)

Yeah, any AEG can handle a 7.4v lipo, I'm referring to the 11.1vs.

I have run them on stock TM ak boxes, sorta stock TM g36(had a 120 spring), a&k m249 (stock spring as well as a 120 spring), and ics m4.

They run well and you do not need upgrades.  My word is all you need.  My batt is a 11.1 2000mAh 10-12c with a discharge of 30amps, but even with that the max I have seen has been 13amps and that was on the m249.

Thats all you need to know.

I am not the only one, so just take it for what it is, lipo's are fine and you need nothing in the way of upgrades.

re-read it it was a typo.

the saw,  umm 20k maybe 30k.  The others, countless.  It all depends the saw, maybe 900rpm. I dont really know since I dont feel like testing it.  I just know its fast enough.  The ak though, on a completely stock gb has got to be 20rps.  Its just crazy, and the trigger response is the best thing about it which is what I am going after.  That and I actually enjoy using semi only.

Oh and the motor stops turning b4 you get your voltage to low for the battery.  You dont want to hurt them by draining them bast 3.3v (its either 3.3 or 3.0 volts per-cell I cant remember)

EDIT: Just wondering, how old are you?

I did re-read it, hence the "ha ha NVM you edited yours" lol

900 RPM is like nothing though, that's only about 15 rps.  My K gets about that with an Elite 9.6v 1500mah with an SP110.

Um...does it matter? lol  I'm 15, 16 in April

no but it does explain some.  I dont know, I guess I could record it and then go back and count how fast it shoot.

EDIT: Ok 11.1 on m249 is about 25rps'ish on 2x 7.4's in parallel its running 19rps'ish.  WAY more than what I though!!!

EDIT EDIT: Just wondering your age, you seem to be a good kid, you just need a little lipo learnin'  :D

See, I thought you would be getting a faster ROF than that.  25 rps isn't too hard on stock parts, the TM would be the one to probably go first.

I'd rather just replace my connectors to deans and get a G&P M120 motor.  I could easily get 20 rps on that set set up.  It would only cost me about 30 bucks too.

So how old are you? ha ha

Yeah, any AEG can handle a 7.4v lipo, I'm referring to the 11.1vs.
I'm running 11.1V 11oo MaH Lipos in three guns, one of which is a stock TM gearbox (20c) with a 120 spring in one of my Hurricane HK416's and it's been in many, many games with out killing the gearbox. My VFC HK416 is also not having a problem with the same kind of Lipo (12c). I'm sure it will shred the hell out of a LPEG or AEG of lesser quality then TM, CA, or VFC. Like I said before you gotta just use some common sense and care with usage, storage, and charging of them. As polie said, get a smart charger AND DO NOT USE A CHARGER UNLESS IT IS MEANT SPECIFICALLY FOR A LI-POLY!!

Way to completely screw over the topic buddies.

My school of belief is never put more stress on your AEG than you need to, so a LiPo for a weapon I don't need it for seems rather ridiculous.  A few more RPS is negligible in the type of airsoft I play.  Ask me about my VFC SCAR, and I would love to get a LiPo for it, because aftermarket battery space is non-existent, and the gearbox holds up decently to a LiPo.

The story of this thread though, is what is a good idea for the OP to get for his stock G36.  My suggestion is a KV stock, because even then, rewiring a deans LiPo to the back is a great idea if he decides to take the LiPo plunge.  Still helps the balance, and the SRC should be available through certain retailers (Don't do Evike though, overpriced and most likely isn't in stock, contact TSD directly for info!).

My first upgrade though, as for any AEG that isn't a super/ultra high end (VFC/Systema), is to get a nice tightbore for it.  It will help your shots much more than any FPS or ROF will.  A new hopup unit is a good idea too, but thats not as immediate.  The KV stock is my personal upgrade of choice beyond tightbore though.
