450 is just rediculus, I was like you once I wanted to put in an m170, then I realized that's that's not what Airsoft is about. Yeah the bbs hurt, but it's about having fun, not making somebodies back bleed.

just to throw it out there, maybe a slight change in topic...

rebel union is always looking for a team to play, we play almost every Sunday free of charge at our own field. Your team is more then welcome to come and test your skills so long as you are 18 years of age or with you LEGAL guardian... not just some dude that's old enough to play.

we chrono every gun that comes on our field, our AEG velocity is capped at 400fps with 2.0s, our sniper cap, as far as i know, has no cap. eye protection is required, mouth protection is HIGHLY recommended (don't want to chip a tooth...and have to get a root canal done... its not fun)

there might some other rules that apply that I'm forgetting so sorry if i do. we post up coming games here:  http://www.airsoftarizona.com/forumbb/viewforum.php?f=106 in the Local Games Listing/RSVP forums so keep an eye out!

snipers have a 500fps limit with a 50 foot limit at Rebel Union, and semi auto only, but i must agree if you need to shoot 450 to hit people, you suck ass.

and if you dial in your rifle properly you can shoot plenty far, i have great range at just under 360fps with a .20, also I think a lot of people underestemate the importance of properly caring for your rifle, a dirty weapon will always shoot like crap.

and on top of that, if you mod a rifle to shoot that fast your just asking for broken gears, pistons, piston heads......... you get the idea.

My team is iNFiNiTY Airsoft
We have gone to meny "big games" we have herd of from gearbox
We go to CQBAZ all the time
I have made a website and store and forms for my team
I also know alot about fixing and upgrading: V2 gearboxes, V3 Gearboxes, Shimming, and gbbM9's

I just have a M130, the reason i want that kinda FPS is so i can shoot from a distance and the people will still feel it.. becuse i had my Systma Magnum with a M120 and people didnt feel it from distance..

i understand what airsoft is about.. i am not a retard i have lots of AEG's under 380FPS. My High FPS gun is for backyard games so i can shoot from a distnace..

i dont want to hurt anyone, i will rather call myself out than shoot somone from 20ft away with that kinda fps..

Listen, all that we are trying to do is tell you that the community here has rules.  By doing so we are trying to set you on the right path so you don't go making a fool of yourself like Woosly. All the big events and such, like Airsofter1, LC, BAS, Desert Hawks, AMSOG games all have the same limitations. So we're saying you should update to those rules and listen to the criticism weather it be bad or good, and you'll have a good time here. or you can do like others (aka Woosly) and make an ass of yourself. Just trying to help you out.  So welcome aboard and i hope to be of some service to you.
