Aftermath Broxa
« on: July 22, 2009, 01:39:20 PM »
Anyone have any experience/opinions about the Aftermath Broxa?

I've been looking at a relatively inexpensive, but decent quality entry-level gun and am leaning towards this one.  It appears to have a good RoF, decent J, uses 0.2 pellets and is upgradeable.  The only con I seem to see is accuracy, but I suppose that could be fixed with a tight-bore barrel.

Thoughts?

I would rather have an Echo 1 M4 or a Classic Army Sportline M4 for the same money.

Hmm.  Interesting.  The Sportline was my second choice after I toyed around with it at Gearbox this week...

i would definatly go with the sportline. i have a friend that got the aftermath and the rigidity of the system is terrible. there manufacturing tolerances are loose compared to the other manufactures.

I've owned two aftermath guns, both were terrible. one of them mis-fed constantly and the other shorted out, destroyed my 8.4v 3500mah battery and jammed so badly that I needed to take the entire gun apart to fix it.

these problems are all proof of aftermaths poor manufacturing tolerances...

I ended up with a Echo-1 M4 Version 3.

Thanks for the help, all!
