MEU 1911 Pistol HELP
« on: July 25, 2009, 07:20:45 PM »
i just bought a Socom Gear MEU SOC 1911 pistol from the gearbox. i brought it home and loaded it and filled it with a new green gas can and it won't shoot more than 3 times before it runs out of gas. any help or suggestions will be very much welcomed.

The bumper on the mag is a little large so you might not be getting a good seal on the fill valve. And you may want to hold the can on the mag for at least 6-8 seconds to ensure you have a good fill. I believe the pistol came with an extension for the fill nozzle of green gas cans so you could use that as well. I have a propane adapter that I use on mine and it is long enough and I rarely have problems with mine, invest in one of those. Another thing is the temperature of the gas it might be too cold, don't know how in this heat but that could be the problem. Try these and let me know how it works.

If you have no idea what the nomenclature is for the parts, or how to fix the gun, then why did you ask for help here in the first place?

On another note, I merged this topic with the same one you posted in the Gas-Powered Guns forum.  From now on, do not make duplicate topics in separate forums.
