Lipo question

Okay, quick question. I really love Magpul and I think the CTR is the coolest stock ever. I want to keep my gun clean, so I was thinking about selling my CTR and getting the airsoft version of the UBR that holds batteries. If I can though, I would rather just keep my CTR and use the lipo in the tube solution, but the question is, will I be fine using a 7.4 volt lipo in my stock G&G R4 Commando?

7.4v is fine with a voltage chip/meter
11.1 is unstable.

Yes, but you can get a LiPo and charger for half that price elsewhere.  That's a $17 charger and a $25 battery.  If you are happy to spend that much on a battery and charger, do yourself a favor and get a better charger (Kong Power's charger performs well and is quite portable) rather than use the one they include.

You can get a similar charger to what they include (CXI GS-103A) and THREE similar batteries (G&P EP Power 7.4V 1200mAh 15C) for $91.96 shipped from EhobbyAsia.  Plus they offer most of their LiPo's with Dean's style plugs preinstalled, which I would recommend doing anyways when running LiPo's.

Alright, thanks for the tip I'll search for those cheaper ones you speak of.  :D/
Another question: Is the lipo sack just to make charging more safe or something?? Haha and would a regular discharger work for the lipo's?

You don't discharge LiPo's.

Yes, the LiPo sack is supposed to make it more "safe".  You are better off just saving your money and handling the battery properly, which you should be doing anyways.
