Sweet! Let's see pictures when it's done, even though most of those upgrades are internal.

I bought parts from both airsoftgi and evike. some stuff airsoftgi has cheaper/better quality, vise versa with evike.
Airsoftgi i bought the TB barrel, the nozle and the piston head/cylender head set, along with the mag box.
evike i bought the motor, the gear and piston set, the sound aplifer flash hider, along with evike .01 stickers.

I bought the Lipo off of Ebay. Ebay is REALLY good for lipos atm. I bought the 15c 3cell Tenergy 11.1v 2000 mah tamiya plug lipo for 23$ shiped. the same exact battery airsoftmegastore carries for 45 dollars not including shipping.
Ebay also has a Large  collection of high discharge rate no end plug lipos that come straight from asia. Youd have to buy your own plug, either tamiya or deans, or what ever you want, and sauder it on thier with Uber high resistance sauder. and those averaged about the same as what i bought, those you can buy 2000-4000 mah for 20-30 bucks.

The Lipo charger i bought on Amazon for $30 shipped. can also find it on evike for 35 not including shipping.

The motor i bought, guarder ITU is on preorder until next week, so i doubt evike will part out the parts, makign them ship it all at once next week.

You should have gotten the SCS nub(Evike has em), unless you bought a KWA 2G or a Firefly. That will still be a cool gun though.

I dont think the SCS nub will fit into the M249 hop up. the hop up has just enough room to put the nub on verticaly. i dont think ud be able to fit a horizontal nub and a median inbetween the switch and the nub to make it functional.

but i am not sure about that. i might be wrong, i tihnk i am right. there are lots of problems with the original A&K hop up that if you dont know what you are doing, it gets worse.

Hell, when i opened up my a&K hop up, there was NO NUB. the oringal bucking is shit. the bucking TORE and dropped the nub leaving bad compresion and no nub. I highly recomend buying any new bucking and nub. id try the Madbul sharkfin bucking and nub. I bought the G&P Stock green bucking.

From some reviews ive read on evike, they have thier head up their ass. i hear they have Uber Uber bad technical/customer support. also anecdotes about buying bad guns and evike not taking it back. i have not had that problem. I am SOMEwhat afriad of buying a gun off of them.  i think they are alright for parts. what airsoftgi does not have, evike has. vise versa.

Would the stories and anecdotes scare me off from thier website: Not yet. i am fairly satisfied with the parts they sell. i want to buy a m14 ebr soon off of them. the way i look at it, all it is a distrubuter. they sell brands of guns. the brand is what you should be weary. if evike had thier own custom motor and i was comparing it to a comparable G&P motor, id buy the name brand. id be weary. but again, it would not scare me off.

they also sell great cheap lipo packs:lipo and chargers if you didnt want to split and buy off ebay.

They have a bad rep, but i think of them as a reliable company , people have had horrible experiances with them. so its really up to you. i wouldnt let it stop you unless something had actaully happens to you for you to hate it. my reality stick from evike has not hit me yet  [-o<

EDIT:::: After writing this reply i checked on my evike order. my motor that was on pre order for 9/25 has been pushed back to 10/30.     My friend who ordered the a&K springer dragunav had thisw problems to with pre order. evike pushes the preorders Back Alot. i am going to call evike tonight or tomorow to see if my motor is being shiped on 10/30 or 9/25
